“ Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in Thailand and ASEAN nations

Northern Region is made up of eleven provinces geographically characterised by several mountain ranges, which continue from the Shan Hills in bordering Myanmar & Laos. Though it has a tropical climate like most of Thailand, its relatively high elevation and latitude contribute to more pronounced seasonal temperature variation, with cooler temperatures than the other regions. The Northern region is home to several tribal people with their distinct cultures and languages as well the Northern Thai dialect. VTM has churches among some of these tribal groups, as well as churches working with Northern Thai.
