What is Vision Thailand?

Vision Thailand is an independent non-denominational mission agency with a board of directors in Thailand.

In Canada we operate under the authority and as a ministry agent of ICMS (International Christian Mission Services) which issues tax receipts to Canadian donors. The ISAAC Foundation is a 501(c)(3) foundation in the United States and issues tax receipts required by the Internal Revenue Service for Vision Thailand.

Our Vision: To share Christ with Thais.

Please pray that we would reach out in practical, culturally appropriate ways, with love and unity to millions of Thais that have not heard the Good News of Jesus.

Our Mission:

To plant local Biblical churches and enable them to reproduce among their own people.

Our Staff:

We have about 30 indigenous Thai missionaries (The Dream Team) that are a specialized evangelism and church planting team who are sharing Christ with Thais in the greater Bangkok area. In 2009 we reached about 100,000 Thais with the Gospel.

Planted Churches:

At present we have nine churches planted. Most of the nine are fully under Thai leadership, and some have Thai leadership in various stages of development. There are six more church plants in the beginning stages of becoming regular churches.

Radio:

"Dream FM" is in operation in Bangkok. Five more radio stations are in the planning stage.

Latest news:

The Dream Team has been invited to participate in the "To be number one" project sponsored by Princess Ubol Ratana Rajakanya of Thailand. This will likely lead to national exposure as a Christian organization and it is a huge development for us, given the stature of royalty in Thailand.

Foundation Status:

We are a registered Thai Foundation. This means that we meet government requirements to operate in Thailand, and own property.

About 0.5% of Thailand's population is Evangelical Christian, so there is much work to be done. The doors appear to be wide open, and we are receiving many invitations to share Christ with Thais. We have mobilized about 30 Thai missionaries to reach into universities, prisons, markets, communities and schools with the Gospel. We are planting churches to disciple and mentor new believers.
